Hello and thank you for visiting the Vicki James blog. I’m Vicki, it’s lovely you have stopped by to check out who I am and what I do. I specialise in Wedding and Portrait Photography. I’ve photographed hundreds of families and couples around service Northern NSW and the Gold Coast for quite a few years now. I am also available for interstate travel.

The following list may be a bit tedious, so if you only read this point, please know that while this page is all about me, when I photograph, it is all about the person in front of my camera. This page is to help you decide if I would be the right photographer for you. Writing my own story does not come easily.
I am an accredited professional photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography
I am an early riser. Don’t be surprised if you receive an email from me at 5am.
I may seem to get distracted at times, but that’s only because I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head.
I am a mum to two lovely girls.
I have a love for photography that borders on a compulsion.
I use bullet points and make lists. It makes me feel neat and tidy.
I get jump around excited when I see yummy light and beautiful moments.
Am passionate, enthusiastic and a perfectionist (I wish I wasn’t a perfectionist!)
Really don’t like doing housework
Am sometimes a good joke teller (but mostly not), please humour me if I am trying.
I pride myself on being able to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable and most importantly making our session together lots of fun.
I am a big dag and may say silly thinks to make you laugh.
Am a nerdy gear freak
Am mostly normal, sometimes silly, happy most of the time.
