Like most couples Andrea and Anthony had well thought out plans for their wedding day. Andrea would have to be the most organised bride I have met. Ever. When we first met, Andrea gave me her time line for her amazing day, and that was months out!! If only I could channel some of that organisation!
Like all well made plans, they, well, don’t always go to plan. First of the weather, it was wet. The ceremony was set to be held on a grassed area near the beach at Brooms Head, however we ended up in the Brooms Head Hall. There was a wardrobe malfunction with one of the bridesmaids dresses which required a seamstress at the last minute (thank you Zulmira!) and the butterflies Andrea and Anthony had to be released had to be saved for a later date.
The best thing about plans being thrown into disarray is the challenge that they present to me as a photographer. Often it is the unexpected that make for the most unique photographs. I love Andrea and Anthonys photos, I hope you enjoy looking at the them too.

Anthony is one of those all round nice guys, he scrubbed up pretty well also!

The flowers were by Yamba Florist, Debbie May:

Great group of guys!

I think the ring bearer was pretty proud of himself!

The brides bouquet, also by Debbie May:

Andrea looked gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! Danielle Robinson was the make up artist.

The rose petals for throwing after the ceremony were beautifully presented:

The excitement in the room when the bride and bridesmaids are ready to go is just wonderful. I love this relaxed candid shot of Andrea as her dad looks on in the background. I grabbed as she was ready to leave.

Andreas Dad walked her down the aisle:

The ceremony was officiated by wonderful celebrant, Christine Preston:

This is always a favourite moment of mine….I think I grin from ear to ear when my brides and grooms walk back down the aisle:

Andrea’s Dad played the bagpipes as they exited the hall:

Gorgeous girls!

I seriously love the dark clouds building up in the background (they did bring with them torrential rain however!)

I love the next series big time!

The Yamba Surf Club looked amazing! All the decorating was by Michelle at Fabulous Functions:

Loved the lolly table and the personalised candies:

I wasn’t staying for the reception, so I asked Andrea and Anthony if they would be up for an early bridal waltz. I’m so happy they were because I’m loving the next two photos also!
