Amy and David | wedding

December 20, 2009

I had been looking forward to Amy and Davids wedding for what felt like AGES. I knew that Amy would put together a wedding that was so amazing and I couldn’t wait to see what she had done. You see, Amy is the type of lady that would make a cake and put it on a nice cake stand for everyone to enjoy. I am the type of lady that would make a cake, cut out a slice, eat it and hide the rest of the cake from the children in a container in the cupboard!

Anyway, we are not talking about cakes (I get distracted sometimes) , we are here to enjoy the wedding day of Amy and David.

There’s quite a few detail shots in this post, more than I would normally post, however the details were so wonderful I could have shot details all day!

Peonies. I love peonies.

Amy made her own wedding own and accessories.

You  could here the collective intake of breath as Amy entered the room after dressing. She just looked like  a doll.

Yes, the guys were also pretty cool:

The ceremony was held at the Catholic Church in Ulmarra.

One of my favourite photos in a wedding day is after the ceremony of the bride and groom walking down the aisle as husband and wife. This one is no exception.

The agapanthus were in full bloom as predicted.

Another favourite of the day:

The reception was held at the Calliope Hall. It looked stunning. I was told how Amy had decorated it, but it blew me away when I saw it. Hydrangeas everywhere!

I think this would have to be one of my favourite cake cutting photos this year.

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed taking them. Sorry the blog post didn’t get up yesterday as promised, but my laptop decided to have a meltdown!

Until next time,

Vicki
